Lake Chelan is 55 miles long and wonderfully clean. At the other end of the lake is Stehekin. It is very remote. One can go there by air, landing in the lake, by boat, there are several different ones that travel different speeds. The slow boat takes 4 hours there is a boat that takes 2 hours to get there and a new one that takes only an hour. It is worth the time to see this wonderful place. You can book a room at the lodge or rent a cabin. It shouldn't be missed if you go uplake. Spend a couple of days and explore you won't be sorry.
